Green Waste Programs

Green Waste Pick-Up requests will be available starting April 28, 2025.

Pick-ups will start May 5th.

The last day to request green waste pick-up for the season is October 12th!

Residential Curbside Green Waste Pick-Up

May through October, Truckee Fire offers free Curbside Green Waste Pick-Up. Simply create a pile of woody biomass within the material and location requirements, and a crew will drive up in a large dump truck with a grapple to pick up and haul away the vegetation!

6 yard GREEN WASTE DUMPSTER REBATES

Funds from Measure T are available to reimburse you 75% of the rental cost of a 6 yard Green Waste dumpster rental from the 2025 season. Simply fill out the rebate request form and we will reimburse you 75% of the rental cost. - WHILE FUNDS LAST!
